ISDA has developed a series of courses that take the diver gradually and, especially, in full safety for deep dives, in air or mixtures. The ISDA path puts the diver's safety first and teaches how to make the best use of the technical equipment, finding its optimal configuration, to use the blends for decompression and for deep descent, to prevent and manage all inconveniences that can happen. The DEEP AIR path consists of the following courses: CONFIGURATION - TEK DIVE - NITROX DECOMPRESSION - DEEP AIR.
The course focuses on the configuration of the technical equipment, according to the Hogartian style, and offers basic exercises to learn to know and use it with mastery and fluency. Each exercise of the course will be repeated over and over for acquiring perfect gestures. Configuration certified diver will understand the importance of continuing constant training, so that the concepts of efficiency, safety, minimalism, redundancy and hydrodynamics become an integral part of the way of going underwater. The Configuration ISDA patent forms the basis for continuing the technical training. You can choose, among the SCUBAMASTER courses, the DEEP AIR course, with Tek Dive courses, Nitrox Decompression and Deep Air or the TRIMIX path with the Trimix One and Trimix courses Two, or the SPELEO course with cave and full cave courses and the WCE path (wreck e cave explorer).
Didactic scenarios are addressed at recreating real diving conditions for being able to simulate, under the guidance of the instructor, different sequences of actions and procedures, being able to grasp both the mechanical and psychological implications, enabling the student to descend, in air, up to 50 meters deep.
In the NITROX DECOMPRESSION course, the world of Nitrox is explored in depth, from notions of physiology to planning a decompression dive in Nitrox to refill and mixing of cylinders. This course also enables to reach the depth of 50 meters. It is a requirement for the Deep Air course -60mt.
This course enables you to dive to a depth of -60mt. The theory part, necessary to face the technical diving in air, has already been exhausted with the study of Tek Dive and Nitrox Decompression courses. All basic tutorials were performed during the Configuration course. In the DEEP AIR course, scenarios will be faced as well as technical exercises that provide procedures and skills of a different type than those practiced until now and which lead to more demanding and deeper dives. The ability to dive to -60 meters is acquired by owning a remarkable baggage of experience and diving practice and only after having achieved a correct psychophysical balance.
The Cavern Diving and Cave Diving courses are designed to prepare you, in complete safety, for facing increasingly challenging but fascinating environments: caves and other closed environments. They provide very fascinating but also challenging scenarios. Easy caves (Caverns) and challenging caves will be explored. You will acquire all the techniques that will serve to make the dive interesting, fun but, above all, safe.
During some cave explorations some divers have started to move the tanks, to perform penetrations, from the shoulders to the hips. The Sidemount system was born! Many years have passed since then and this perfected technique stands revolutionizing the world of diving. The advantages, compared to the backmount, are many; discover them with your instructor and you will enjoy new systems in the way of trying diving underwater.
